50 Sport accelerates digital activation for new partner DHL Express

50 Sport, the multi-award winning creative sports agency, is delighted to announce a new relationship with logistics company DHL Express.

Attracted by their track record and reputation in digital and social branded content in sport since 2016, DHL Express has chosen 50 Sport for two high-profile projects in 2023.

50 Sport will breathe new life into activating DHL Express’ sports sponsorship portfolio, starting with their MotoGP partnership, which has been in place since 2015 and ensures that more than 350 tons of critical equipment and supplies are transported to 19 GPs across five continents each season.

After initially setting an audience data-led content strategy for the partnership and developing a new creative look and feel for their output, 50 Sport will move into digital content creation across static, motion and video to help a new generation of fans understand DHL Express’s expertise in – and commitment to – the sport.

DHL Express also sponsors Andretti Autosport in INDY NXT, featuring world-leading female driver Jamie Chadwick as she embarks on her debut season in the American racing series. The 24-year-old previously dominated the all-female single-seater championship W Series, winning three consecutive titles, and will now test herself against male drivers.

Well versed in activating high-profile sporting talent and with previous experience working alongside Chadwick during her years competing in W Series, 50 Sport is well placed to produce content for her significant and engaged social media followership as she races the No.28 DHL Express Dallara.

Through audience insights, platform optimisation, market-leading static and motion video production, creative ideation, fan engagement and talent access, 50 Sport will deliver DHL digital objectives and grow their social media channels with a focus on bringing a new Gen Z audience to their motorsport coverage.

Elliot Santon, Head of Global Sponsorships at DHL Express said: “We are very excited to be working with 50 Sport this year. Their reputation in the industry speaks for itself and we are excited to see the impact of their creativity and what this can bring to these properties to further amplify our shared partnership values on a global scale. We are set for an exciting 2023 and we’re pleased to have 50 Sport involved in taking this content to the next level.”

Nick Jackman, Co-Founder at 50 Sport, said: “50 Sport is an agency born out of motorsport, so we are thrilled to be partnering with DHL Express across both of these projects. We are very much looking forward to delivering their digital objectives around reaching a new Gen Z audience for DHL Express’ coverage and we’re excited to see where these projects lead.”

James Campbell, Co-Founder at 50 Sport, said: “We are delighted to be working with DHL Express on these exciting partnerships. At 50 Sport, we’re excited to be able to develop a new creative look and feel for the iconic partnership that is DHL Express and MotoGP. It was also a pleasure to work with Jamie Chadwick during her time in W Series, so we can’t wait to work with both her and DHL Express on the Andretti Autosport partnership.”
